After earning his BA in Mathematics & Classics at Colgate University; Bill served as math teacher, Latin teacher, and coach before attending The University of Virginia where he earned his Master’s and published his thesis. After serving there as an assistant swim coach he went to Tulane to become their head coach. Bill then entered financial services in New Orleans in 1989. Over his 30-year career Bill has earned his Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Financial Consultant, Accredited Investment Fiduciary, and Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor designations. He also holds the Series 24, 7, 6, 62, 63, and 65 FINRA licenses. Through his career, Bill has been recognized by Mass Mutual as Agent of The Year in both Northern Virginia and New Orleans. Away from the office Bill enjoys fishing, occasional golf, good food, fine wine, tailgating, travel, and spending time with his three adult children Kelly, Will, and Palmer.

Bill provides comprehensive investment and wealth management services. Bill serves as a ‘Financial Internist’ diagnosing the financial issues effecting a client’s personal economy, treats all those he can, and brings in specialists (attorneys, money managers, CPA’s, property casualty agents, etc…) to serve those ancillary needs which completely brings the client into a state of financial wellness in a holistic manner. He believes that no one adviser can be all things to all people. It is important to create a ‘team’ of select advisors necessary to serve the specific objectives of each client. Accordingly Bill believes in a ‘manage the managers’ approach to investment management. Bill creates the asset allocation and timeline necessary to meet the future financial needs of each client, on time. He does frequent due diligence with his advisory clients to make sure that piece of the plan is staying on target, and if not, makes adjustments to right the path.
Bill has worked extensively with physicians, business owners, and high tax payers over his 30 years. He seeks opportunities throughout the personal financial landscape to bring to bear for the good of his clients. These include unique strategies & methods with positive growth implications, enhanced risk management & wealth creation techniques.
