Eli's practice focuses on investment management; comprehensive retirement and legacy planning; income and estate tax mitigation; and risk management. He develops bespoke plans for his clients that align their investments with their financial goals and executes specific strategies to achieve them.
Eli’s clients are highly accomplished professionals, including small business owners and attorneys, and retirees. He collaborates with them to build their wealth and protect it for future generations. He meticulously analyzes his clients’ overall financial health, discovers creative solutions to complicated problems others may have missed, and develops the right protective measures to mitigate risk in a complex and volatile world.
Prior to joining Spire Investment Partners, Eli served his clients as a lead relationship manager at BB&T Scott & Stringfellow, Truist Investment Services, and Alexandria Capital in their private client group. He earned his CPWA® certification, specifically for wealth managers who work with high-net-worth individuals, from the University of Chicago and the Investments and Wealth Institute; an executive certificate in financial planning from Georgetown University; his master’s degree from the University of Washington; and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont.
Eli lives in Washington, DC with his wife Patricia of 16 years and their dog Lexi. He enjoys hiking, cooking, international travel, learning piano, and consistently finishing in the top three of a long-running competitive fantasy baseball league.
